Happy Bastille Day!

Joyeux Le Quatorze Juillet!

C'est une Fête Nationale dans le France! 

(Merci, Claude Monet, for the beautiful impressionistic painting.  We love it, love it, love it.)

We've learned it's a celebration of the storming of the Bastille,

a symbol of the uprising of a modern nation,

a dramatic display of initiative by forward thinking revolutionaries.

Consequently, we've been giving serious consideration to joining together and storming the pantry

where the cache of our kibble is stored.

Le Quatorze Juillet has also become a day when the President of France may pardon petty offenders.

While we tend to be perfect little dogs, 

and, consequently, in our humble opinion, there is not much to excuse,

we would like for our people to consider pardoning the following:

Petty Destruction of Property

Intimidating a Victim or Witness

Stalking

(I'm just trying to work on my hunting skills ... please give me a break!)

And Minor Trespassing

(on Gramma's chair)

 (I just don't understand what the problem is)

(If she's not sitting it in, what harm can I do?)
