You know What?

It's nice living with OurMoma and OurGirl who both like RoadTrips

and

There are some real Benefits to being GreatTravelers

We get the MostComfy (and the most spacious) Place in the car

and

We get to sleep on the MostAmazingGiantBeds

With even MoreAmazingFluffyPillows

Life is SoGood

and

We love sharing it with OurPeople

 (We'll happily travel with them anywhere, for however long it takes)

One of the BestParts is we get to keep meeting Dogs and Families 

All along TheWay

Over the PastFewMonths

We've made some ReallyGoodFriendships even Better and MoreSpecial

Some have been Doggies we've met through Bloggies

(Like our CrossCountryTrip during the Summer of 2010)

and

Some have been Doggies that we've met through that other SocialNetwork

(Facebook)

Like .... Lola (with Jake)

(Aren't we just styling' on that ZebraBlankie?)

and ... Fergi (with Lola's mom, Miss Nhi)

and ... Lola and Me with Lola's (adorable) HumanSissies

Sometimes

We don't even have to travel ThatFar

Some of our NewFriends are just AcrossTown

 Like ... Oliver

and

Nicholas Prince

(Their sister Ashley stayed Home.  You know how girls can be)

We met them one SlushyWinterDay after OurLastTrip to Gramma'sHouse in Florida

What a FunDay we had walking along the path, tromping through all the MudPuddles

Then

This Spring we got to reunite

With Sir Winston Churchill Becker

(Who just so happened to come from OurRescueAngel, PJ)

His mom tried hard as she may to get us to all look at the camera at the same time

(What a RidiculousIdea!)

We met up with them at OurMostFavorite Garden and Nursery Shop

... Echter's ...

It's a "DogFriendly" (the ONLY place to go) GardenCenter

Where we got to get UpClose and Personal with Lots of Pretty and Interesting Things

(Truth be told ... those LittleMonsters sorta scare me)

There were good Sights to See

and Great Grass to Eat

(MyMoma was saying "No, Jake!" when she caught me in the Act)

Best of all ... there was PersonalTransport ... 

A QuitePleasantWay to Shop

(Fergi loves it)

We really consider ourselves QuiteLucky

Even when OurMoma isn't taking the Time to help us Blog

She's making sure we're enjoying Life

(All of Us)

It gives us Lots of GoodMemories and ReallyGoodStuff to Dream about

'Til OurNextAdventure

and

From what we hear

A NewAdventure (of a VeryDifferentSort) is just around the Corner

To New Mexico and Back

"Ya gotta start SomeWhere"

That's what we keep telling OurMoma

We managed to get her to read a few (a VERY few) Blogs

It Worked

She realized how much She (We) have missed Them

(LOTS)

We even got her to go on a Search for one of our OldBlogPosts

(When Sally met Jake ... in London ... Christmas eve 2009 ... aww ... SweetMemories)

We reminded her how much Fun we used to have

(LOTS)

So

She's promised Us

She's gonna try Harder

We're gonna get her to share what we're doing Recently

and

What we've been doing the past few Months

(In no particular order)

In the Meantime

We're gonna keep after her to keep Reading

(and Reading and Reading and Reading)

But for Now

We're starting with the MostRecentBigAdventure

A MostAmazingTrip to NewMexico with OurGirl

and

With Two of our FlatFacebookFriends

(The Naughty Terriers Murphy and Dougal)

Their People left 'em in England and came to the US to travel

but

Not to be LeftOut

They came to OurHouse

and 

Took up Space with Fergs

(Doing their best to teach her to be Naughty)

(We won't go there ... we'll let you use your Imaginations as to the Results)

Anyhow

First Stop in New Mexico

Albuquerque

and

Siku Marie and the White Dog Army

(It had been over a year since we last saw them ... and the Army had grown from Two to Five)

All that WonderfulSoftWhiteFluff

Surrounded by the Love and Caring from their MostGenerous and MostKind and MostDedicated

People

No question about it

Fergi LOVED the Hugs and Snuggles TheirMom gave

(and the White Dogs were so Patient with the SharedAttention)

(SweetSweet and VeryVerySpecialMoments and Memories

Not to speak of Gobs of MostDeliciousTreats for All of Us)

We spent the night in that BigCity of New Mexico

(Murph and Doogie cleaned out the mini-bar while we visited the WhiteDogs)

We joined the WhiteDogArmy once again the NextDay

for AnotherWalk in TheirFavoritePark

It was SimplyWonderful

Then

On we drove to Santa Fe

Where the Landscapes and Architecture

Are like no where else in America

OurMoma got a little carried away with Photos and MemoryMaking

and

Not wanting to forget or leave out Anything

Decided to make a bunch of Collages

(You can biggify them to see them better)

Bear with OurMoma.  Please

At least we've got her Blogging again.

Anyhow

We walked and walked 

(It's a NiceDogFriendlyCity)

and

We Found the Naughty Terriers' People

Right in front of the Cathedral Basilica of St Francis of Assisi

(We minded our Manners ... and were Reverent and Responsible

Even when that VeryLoud and VeryImpressive Steeple chimed out the Hours)

That's Us and OurGirl with Murphy and Dougal's Mum and Dad

(They're the ones who started the Naughty Terrier Club on Facebook

and

Boy were they surprised to find out TheirNaughtyPups had come to America

We're pretty sure TheirAmericanExperience changed with two FlatDogs now in tow)

Anyhow

We saw lots of Colors and Textures in Santa Fe

Some in the Sidewalk Booths

and

Some along the Streets

and

of course

We found Foodables

Some of which we got to Share

and

Some of which we didn't

Like

The NewMexicanChocolate

at

The Kakawa Chocolate House

(OurPeople loved it)

Probably best of all was the AmazingDogFriendlyPlace we Stayed

A Bed and Breakfast (Two of OurFavoriteThings) Inn of the Turquoise Bear

With a MostEntrancingKivaFireplace in our room

(It was cool enough That Night to enjoy it)

and

with

Two

Monstrous

(but very friendly)

Bears

Dogs

They made us feel right at Home

To top it all off

It seemed everywhere we went

We found SquareDogs

(or SquareDogResemblances) 

And that, of course, made OurMoma smile (and take Pictures)

Some of the best ones were in the Museum of International Folk Art on Museum Hill

and

Two of "em managed to get Rescued and Adopted

(Handcrafted WoolDogs from Central Mexico)

The TurquoiseOne came Home with Us

The WhiteTwinnie went home with Murph and Doogie's People

It was a QuickTrip

(Much Too Short)

and

Before we knew it, we were heading Home

Where we introduced the TurquoiseDog to the Rest of the Gang

He fits right in

and

He brings back HappyMemories

It was all GreatFun

ReallyGreatFun

So Great that we managed to get OurMoma to blog about it

(Maybe she'll stay on a roll ... though we promise to get her to try to keep 'em short and sweet)

We finally have managed to get OurMoma in Gear

We're convincing her to at least help us READ some Blogs

To NOT feel responsible to comment on them all 

(We'd be sitting on the couch forever, otherwise)

To at least every once in a while let you know that we're still Up and About

We're not expecting Miracles

and

We figure we've got a fair amount of Waiting (and Reminding) (and Encouraging) to do

So

We're gonna make ourselves comfortable in the meantime
