Two Terrific Topics

GOSH!

It's hard to believe a Whole Year has passed
Since a VerySpecialEvent in the Blogging World.

We're talking about
The Worldwide Moment
That started last year with our Concern for our WFT friend Snickers
and
Developed into a Worldwide Moment when PetBloggers from all over the World
Stopped and sent
Simultaneous Healing, Loving and Supportive Thoughts

at exactly
5:00 PM 14 Nov 09 CST
(11:00 PM, 14 Nov 09, GMT)

The Response was Amazing.
(You can read about it here.)
We had over 400 hits on our Blog in less than one week's time
Friends who were downloading the Countdown Clock
(You can see it to the right, over there in our sidebar)
So we'd all be ready for the Worldwide Moment in Time.

And we did it.

Hundreds of Us

Simultaneously
Sending a Huge Energy Up and Out
into the Universe.

We could feel it.
Really.  Truly.  It was Pawsome.

So
We all agreed
to make it an Annual Event.

Now
The Time is quickly approaching
for the Second Annual Worldwide Moment

14 Nov 10
Sunday

5:00 PM 14 Nov 09 CST
(11:00 PM, 14 Nov 09, GMT)

VeryImportantNotice!

Moma just realized the Countdown Clock up there is INACCURATE!
She has helped us revise it
and we have new HTML.

We feel REALLY badly about this
but you are going to have to get the new HTML
and redo your current clocks
(if you already have them on your blog.)

The CORRECT clock will have the work "UNTIL" in RED!
(Look at the clock in our right side bar, on top)
Email us HERE for the new HTML.

(We'll do a new blog post and try to spread the word.
If you know anyone who might not see it
or if you want to help out by sharing the new HTML
that'd be great!)

SoVerySorry!!

Anyhow
It's time to mark our Calendars
and
to SPREAD THE WORD
to anybody and everybody we know
So even more Furries and Fuzzies and Feathereds and their Families
Can be part of this
Second Annual Amazing Worldwide Moment in Time

For today
We're gonna link you back to Last Year's Posts
So you can Recall (if you were part of the Movement)
or Realize (if you are new to it this Year)

and

Soon we'll devote a Post to this Year's Event
and make a banner for this year's Moment.

For now
If you don't already have the html
to add a Countdown Clock to your sidebar
Email us Here
and we'll send it to you
Happily and with lots of Enthusiasm
for another Amazing Moment

All of Us

Together

Supporting or Celebrating
Whomever We Wish
Simultaneously
All Around the World

By the way
We thought of suggesting that This Year
if possible
We all light a Candle
and burn it for Five Minutes
So maybe there will be a Flicker of Light
Surrounding the Globe
All at one Time.

Whaddya think?

Now
On another Note
Life goes on in our Neck of the Woods
(We've been busy and we have a Lot we want to share)

We did end up going on another Friday Hike last week
and it was good.

We loaded up into the car

and rode west up the Canyon near our Home

Twisting and turning through Bear Creek Canyon

to another Open Space Park

The Lair of the Bear Park
(Only about ten miles from our home ... even closer the way the crow flies)

It's a nice place with Streamside Paths
Open Meadows
Cliffs that rise
and
Beautiful Views.

Just as usual
We trotted along
Together and happy
Casting .... yep ... NiceSquareShadows

There were Sights and Smells and Sounds along the way

Including some hidden Treasures

Simply put:
We loved being out on this unusually warm late October morning.

We stopped often to enjoy the Stream
Still quickly flowing
Despite the long Dry Spell we've been having.

Listen!
(Sorry it's blurry.  We're not gonna use blogger for videos any more.)

and See!

There was a Beaver Dam
but no sign of the Beavers

and a Fisherman
but no signs of Fish

At one point we even got to cross a small Branch of the Stream

It was flowing pretty fast
and was kinda loud and scary

but by the time we got to this Point
there were other
MoreImportantThings
on my Mind

It was a Good Hike

And we followed it up
with a nice Afternoon Snooze

Dreaming about OurNextAdventure

and
Realizing
We're a VeryLuckyFamily.

We have been watching our countdown clock and wondering when we would start promoting this very special event. We are on board once again, and need to ask if you want to go public on Facebook? See, we do listen when Axel's mom talks about social media!

And that looks like a lovely hike.

Happy November

We would have to agree with you that blogger is useless for videos but nevertheless we always enjoy them!
That was some scary sounding noise and it was right to be careful crossing.
What a fantastic hike with great pics and wonderful collages.
We remembethe world wide moment although it is hard to believe that was one whole year ago!
We confess to taking all 'gadgets' off our blog as the screen kept freezing!
But you know we are with you in spirit.....!
Thank you for sharing your walk - the territory always looks familiar to us somehow!
love

Hi there, pretty foxys :)
I already stole the beautiful terrier clock ;D It will go to Milú's own blog, once I have the time to do it... Hopefully before 14th November to enter this great chain in big style (but I can't promise... let's see).

The important is to join this chain for our sweet furry friends. They deserve all our love.

xoxo to you

Another great hike - and look at those awesome photos - your Mom does a beautiful job with her flashy beast.

We wanted to answer your comment today - we would be happy to help with spreading the word, just let us know when you would like us to do that post. And we would also love to have the countdown clock code and then see if we can figure out how to add it. Theoppack(atthingie)gmail(dot)com.

I love the idea of the worldwide moment... Wonderful.

And, I loved the photos of your hike. It looks a lot like where I live, somewhat south of you.

You are a very lucky family - and you're lucky to realize it! BTW, last Friday was an amazing fall day, wasn't it?
