Christmas Toys - Recycled and Just Like New

This Morning
I was just going about my Playtime Business
(Hoping to delay the inevitable ... the post-weekend-dusty-hike Shower)

When the dreaded PlasticBag came out
and MyToys started disappearing into its recesses

But Why?
What'd I do to deserve this?
Come on.

Really?
Was this for Real?

Somebody was messin' around with me.
Right?

What was this?
Another (scary) PlasticBag?
I sniffed
(I was being really really brave 'cause I hate those Bags)
Now!
Wow!
This was a GoodThing!
A VeryGoodThing
and
I'm likin' It
A Lot

Meanwhile
In the Bedroom
On the Big Bed

Somebuddy else was takin' a WholeDifferentApproach
(a VeryGentleOne)
to her Christmas Toys
(and She was ... and is ...  Happy, too)

We're likin' the Season
It's Good

And we're 'specially happy that we really don't need ... or want ...
Any new Toys
'Cause we have More right Now
Than we could ever have imagined could be True

We're enjoying the Gift of Forever Family
and
We're wishing it for Lots More Doggies and Kitties this Season
Paws Crossed

xxoo

Looks like Christmas came early for you two - great fun there, Jake. And Miss Fergi - you look so sweet sitting there with your stuffies.

We don't think we have a bag of Christmas toys tucked away so we are going to keep a close watch on the ones we do have.

Hi Jake and Fergie! We have missed seeing you since mom's computer at work got all blocked up! We think it is so neat that you have special Christmas toys. And of course we are not surprised that Fergie was gentle with hers - we know she is cautious with the toys still! IT looks like you will have a wonderful fun time with those toys! And we are with you - we hope that lots of dogs and cats find good forever homes this Christmas season!

Yuh, ignore a toy long enough and it becomes brand new all over again. Like magic! I do that with the toys at the bottom of my basket. Of course the evil witch also hides my toys from me until I forget I ever had them and then she brings them out and they are like new and, hey, wait a minute, how can the Mango ever know if they are new or not? Suppose it doesn't matter.

Slobbers,
Mango

Woweeeee...You guys are sure nice to your toys. Ours last about 45 seconds MAX, unless they are really hard rubber. Maybe we should rethink this policy.

The only thing that comes of the closet at our house are the silly santa and elf costumes. Sheesh.

What a lovely video!!! We loved it - made us all have big smiles with the happy music too.
We remember last year thinking we would copy your idea and didn't but we will certainly try harder this year!
You do seem to be kinder with your toys than us - we have a duck we both love that has had emergency surgery now on several occasions!
We are just trying to do a wee video of Bailey in the garden today - she is looking soooooooo much better today!!!!!!
love you lots

Oh that would be so fun meeting you while you are vacationing. I wrote my rescuer yesterday and this was her reply
"I just happpened to get the ATRA newpaper in yesterday's mail and saw several seniors needing a home. I'll send it her way--ATRA serves CO and other states."
How cool is that guys??! Your Miss P.J. may just find a new airdale soon ;) That's my wish for her too. Hope Miss Frances was able to contact you about all that good news.
Love,
Rudy

What a beautiful Christmas wish, Jake! Believe me, Santa has made note of it!

You DO have a grand assortment of toys--both regular and Christmasy festive--to enjoy in your own special ways. What a wonderfully happy time this is!
