WAVES of Moments

 IGNORE THE COUNTDOWN TIMER!

We are Confused.

(Nothing new)

When we look at bloggers' Countdown Timers
(the ones with the red word UNTIL)
They are accurate
From our House
in Mountain Standard Time.

But apparently when Families in other Time Zones
look at theirs
They are INACCURATE.
Like
The time has come and gone.

Apparently the timers are sensitive to individual computers/location/timezone
(We didn't know that.  It wasn't an issue brought to our attention last year.)

(Very Sad and Frustrated Face)

Ignore the Countdown Timer
If you want to make your Moment at 11:00 PM GMT
Instead
Pay Attention to Your Watch or Clock

Use the Time Converter
(We hope THAT works!)

Otherwise
FEEL THE WAVE
because it appears some Moments have already begun!

Sorry for the Confusion

Our Timer is accurate, right now, as we type this. It must be that the timer is sensitive to what time zone you are in. Please go by the intended time (11:00 PM GMT) and forgive us for any confusion.

We can feel a wave of positive energy ... and that's what matters.

I went on the count down clock which made it 4.00 in the afternoon, when looking at other blogs all the clocks have stopped!
Just checked the time zone converter, I think it should be 23.00hrs which makes 11.00PM GMT
At this time I will relight the candle

Don't be sorry. You aren't responsible for the confusion. We just double checked our time zone and time in Blogger and the time on our computer. It's all correct but for some reason the time on every countdown clock we can see is 0000. The clock is just off for us, even though it reads correctly for the rest of you. But we do know 11 GTM will be in one hour here - 6 PM. So we will still be with you at the correct time.

And we thank you for all the time and effort you've put into coordinating this.

We forgot we've had strange problems with Blogger since installing their new template. And we did do a post titled Blogger on Booze. So maybe it's just our blog that's having a problem telling time.

Who knows? We do know, now, some Countdown Clocks are correct and others aren't. Whatever. IGNORE THE COUNTDOWN TIMER! (They have been a pain in the you-know-what, anyway!)

Go by your watch!!!

Fifty four minutes, as we paw this out!

No matter at all, just light the candle and remember what the moment is all about:)

We think it may have had something to do with the time change last weekend.

Great! We have it correct. It's almost time here. We've been on a special hike and it's been a glorious day for such a Moment.

Hugs and snaggle-tooth kisses,

Thank you so much for this ... we did stop and light a candle at 11pm here - thanks for Tinkerbell's recovery and remembering and reflecting on all the pets that have passed and those ill at the moment. Sorry, we didn't tell you before today that we were taking part - Tinkerbell has been taking all our time and concentration!

But we did remember and also posted on FB as well and we were so very honoured to see that Debi and Norwood remembered Clive, Murray and Tinkerbell and lit a candle for them (they posted a great video on FB).

Thank you again for co-ordinating this.

with best wishes
Clive & Co

Gosh, I'm really confused! Maggie and Mitch...we're in the same time zone, EST, so if it's 11:00pm Mountain time and mountain time is two hous behind us, then it would be 1:00 am here in EST. Is that right????

Thanks,
Bocci and Parental Unit

It was OK guys, we checked your blog this morning and clicked on the link where it showed the time in our time zone, so we were all in sync.

If its November 14 11PM USA (LA), it is November 15 3PM Philippines and we're probably on time. Methinks or Sumo and Sweepy will nag me to bits about being so late...again!

I posted about it on my site though.

You had no way of knowing how the clock would react to different time zones and computer so don't blame yourself. We had checked the time converter and watched our clock anyway.

It was an awesome moment with a candle and an especially big hug for Miss Cindi. You can count on us for next year!

Worry not, Jake and Fergi!

We followed the time converter link you provided and converted 14 Nov, 11pm GMT to Phil time and got 7am 15 Nov and joined the Worldwide Moment. Just to be sure, we will light our candle again tonight.

We are thankful that you have set this up this year and we will join again next year.

Dear friends,
Hope all of you had an unique and special moment. We did!!!
With the time converter I think we were totally in sync (we used that instead of the clock that we didn't manage to put in the blog...sorry).
So, even if we weren't at the computer at 11pm (Portugal time) we didn't miss the moment.
The bond between humans and animals can be very powerful and knowing that at an exact moment across the world so many are feeling the same is absolutely magic.
Thanks for this precious feelings dear Jake, Fergie, mom, and blogland friends.

Love and hugs, and woo-woo's from
Milú and mom
