Well
The Moment arrived
after much Anticipation
and
following (for some) a bit of Confusion
as to just when the Exact Moment occurred.
(We should have listened to our gramma
and left the new fangled contraptions like Countdown Clocks
and Technology
by the wayside
and just depended on the good old-fashioned watch.)
But
It seems
by far the majority of Us were Together
All at the Same Time
All around the World.
Asta captured the Beauty and reported on her Blog
(click on her name or on the image of flickering candles that she shared)
and Lacie, Stanley and Scruffy caught a bird's eye view
with only a few mishaps
(seems Scruffy fell off the broom)
Comments are coming in
and
From all individual Accounts
We all shared a few common things
A feeling of Togetherness
A Bond
and
Joy and Appreciation
of the Community of which we are a part
We know we, personally,
Felt Excitement and Awe
Combined with Peace and Calm
as we joined others in Thoughts and Prayers
full of Love and Support
and
then
listened
for Evidence
of so many others
doing the exact Same Thing
For all the Same Reasons
('Cause we Care)
at the exact Same Time.
or
Almost the exact Same Time
It seems there may have been a bit of a Wave
but
That's good, too.
And we'll repeat it next year
Same Day
Same Time
(just, perhaps, without @#$%& Countdown Clock)
If you'd like
Share your Stories
and Moma will TRY to figure out a few statistics
or at least take a guess at a few
Later
and
Love

ThankQ so much for organising this.....as usual our mumster did not inform us earlier and woke us up AT 7AM!.....and we looked at the sky this morning and sent our Love to ALL our friends around the globe and
remembered our dear friends like Max and BrindAmour and many many others who are running free.....

This was a wonderful event and we really felt part of something larger. Unfortunately, we didn't make it home in time and were stuck in traffic. It was still a pretty night and we were able to send positive thoughts and wishes into the universe. The strange thing is that just as the moment ended - the traffic started moving!
Thanks again!
Pip
We all appreciate your efforts to unite us - we didn't use the countdown clock - we knew what our time was - just had the countdown clock on our blog to remind everyone.
XOXO

We are so sad we didn't get to post about the event more - but we know it was a big success from what we have seen as we try to get caught up! We certainly took our moment even though we didn't get the chance to write about it. Thanks so much for organizing this and we know we will be there next year too!!
Hi, Fergi and Jake -
Even though the clocks were not accurate Mama and I (Hershey) participated in this impawtant event. Mama even lit sparklers and had the candles burning for over an hour!
Love -
Hershey
P.S. Now that Kaci is here Mama will probably want to do something with both of us!
