Moma's been in that VerySpecialCloset
The One where she hides Christmas Pressies
(as if OurGirl doesn't know they are there)
and
Some VerySpecialToys
Like
My
Football
So
When she opened the Door
to get the Pressies out to get them ready for OurTrip
I just HAD to have a play with my MostFavoriteToy
She got it down
Gave it to me
and
Left the room.
Like a GoodBoy
I played
Quietly and Independently
and
I must say
Quite Proudly
After a While
I called Moma in to see
I'm such a GoodBoy
But
I understand there's been a bit of a Misunderstanding
About my Terrier Destuffing Skills
I just wanted to set the Record straight
(Yes ... That's Stuffing in my MostLarge and OpenMouth)
If you really want to know what I'm capable of
Watch This
and
Please
Be Quite Impressed
Here's the Evidence in Clear and Multiple Forms
You see?
I AM quite the Destuffer
I just pick and choose my Toys and my Occasions
(with a little bit of help ... it seems if I enjoy this Play too often
my VSB ... VerySensitiveBelly ... ruins the Fun
Bluntly put: I puke when I get too excited
and
This really is quite Exciting)
So
The Play comes to an End
and Moma restuffs the Football
(with my help, of course)
And the Inevitable happens
(Much to my Chagrin)
Yep
Back on the Shelf it goes
(With the mechanical toys that put me Over the Edge)
'Till next Time
In the Meantime
I've got all those Christmas and Winter Toys
in the other Room
(Click here if you didn't see them in our last post
and if you wanna see my Fun)
Maybe 'cause there're so Many HolidayToys
and Lots of Them have the Scents of Doggies before Me
I tend to leave them in their Stuffed State
Mostly
For Now
(Love, Jake)

Hi Jake!! We think you do a great job of destuffing that football! And we think it is so cool that your mom restuffs it for you to play with again! Our doggie cousin Sunny loves to destuff too, but her brother Oscar is more like Fergie - he is just learning to play with toys because he didn't have any to learn with for a long time. WE think both those are great - destuffing or not we love it all!
You are a most excellent destuffer :)

You have kept your destuffing talents hidden too long, my friend! You are a master destuffer! I love that you and moma save it all so you can have the fun all over again. When do you head South?
Wow Jake Special MD
I see you use the y cut then anchor with your paw! My preferred technique! I just can't believe momma recycles them. I hope santa brings u a new football!

I guess I need to give it a try!
Kisses and hugs

Yep, that's what my wire fox, Carson, did. Parental Unit said that she "disembowled" them first and then gave them to Carson!
P.S. I think you need to try and win a "Tuff Stuff Nose Diver" Contest closes tomorrow at 5pm EST :-)
What talent!!!

your Blog post made me smile, on a day when I really needed a reason to smile!!
Thanks!!!
Jake, can I let you into a little secret? I have never yet destuffed a toy! I know. It's embarrassing. I've done a lot of chewing, as we know, but the destuffing thing, well I'm not quite there yet. So I've been watching your videos very carefully and hoping to learn some technique.
Does having a jangly collar help?
Toodle pip!
In admiration,
Bertie.
Good form, really quite amazing the talent you have for destuffing stuffies. Good of your Mom to recycle them, too. She must be quite talented herself with a needle and thread to piece it back together. Good match. :)
Happy Tails,
William Tell
