Puppy Love

We really truly are going to tell you more details about our Summer Trip.
We think about it all the time
and smile at all the wonderful Memories.

Moma says it one of the Best Things we've done in a Long Time.
(We think "we" means including "Us" with "Them"
'Cause "WE" are doing Best Things all of the time.)

Anyhow.
We learned that one of the places we were gonna visit
but didn't get to visit 'cause timing didn't work out
Awww
That's really nice of them.

So
We thought today would be a good time to tell you something
'Specially about Jake.

Something we learned on Our Trip.
(You may already know)

We do have a reputation for not being exactly your "Typical Terriers"
(Though .... ummm ... some new behaviors ARE starting to emerge.
Moma hasn't been able to capture them on camera quite yet.)

You see
Jake seems to have taken his Individuality to a different step.

How so?

He fell in Love this summer.

With Ruby.
A beautiful Kitty at Mutton Hollow

Here's  some evidence.

His tail was waggin SuperSpeed
But he was moving very very slowly and tenderly and sweetly.

They gave each other little nose nuzzles

See:

Jake couldn't seem to think of anyone else
(Till he met the fishies.  That's a whole other Story.)

He sat for a very long time
Gazing with Love and Affection at his new Sweetie.

We're quite sure that if we'd stayed there longer
They would've snuggled up together and napped.

We're sorry we didn't get to meet Mica (and Petey) this summer
While in NYC and before Mica quietly left for the Bridge.

And we wish that someday we could meet Otis
Eric's Russian Blue Brother
Across the Pond.
Even if it is a Sad Story of Allergies.

And now we're REALLY sad we didn't get to meet Amy and the House of Cats.
Go by and meet them and you'll understand why.
They're a great Family and VeryNiceFriends.

And
You see
Ever since Jake met Ruby and the other catses
He has been heard to purr.

We think he's telling Moma
We need a Kitty.

Aw, thanks for mentioning us! We just adore you all so much! And we love that Jake fell for Ruby - she is a cutie (well, all of the cats and dogs over there are cuties). And oh, it is probably a good thing you left before they could snuggle, that much cuteness might have thrown us over the edge (seriously, can you imagine the cute?) We hope that some day we do get to meet (well, if not the cats too at least the people - it is tough since the cats don't travel!)

I think it is very nice that Jake treated his sweetie so gently. I live with a dog who will never be my sweetie, although I tolerate her most of the time. The times I don't is when she has her nose where it doesn't belong!

Jake, it takes a confident man to follow his heart! We are proud of you. Thanks for sharing more of your very Special Summer...and we agree, the folks, two and four legged, at Amy's House of Cats, are super! Hey Jake, my word verification is "Manking" how appropriate!

Ruby is a very pretty kitty, Jake. Maybe your mom needs to think about getting you your very own kitty.

Good evening TwoSpecialWires
I am slowly cruising as for Blog.
It is with a lot of friends rose every day.
The anniversary of my Blog is a day when gratitude is expressed for the thing where a lot of friends exist so.
Thank you.

When the importance of friendship is felt from a familiar place, I feel happiness.
And, when it informs them of it, more people think of happiness.
A wonderful weekend while seeing the beautiful moon. :)

Maybe I've met you just in time. If Jake needs a kitty of his own, we have some amazing ones. There is a cat posted on The Taylor CatSSSSS that loves other kitties and doggies, too. And we are having an event next week to try to get some kitties into wonderful homes. Found you through Amy and the House of Cats, and glad I did.

Jakie I'm wagging you discovered for yourself how well wicked them Nom's are. Not that Otis know's he's a NOM.Don't tell will you. Doh. Thinks he's a dog, daft kittie. Want to borrow him for a while just to check before you get one? He and Nina could have some nice chats in Russian. And you can wash his lugoles for him the dirty boy.

Wiry love and kisses

Jake! I did not know that cats were like terrier whisperers. You seem really calm and liking that little kitteh. Yuh, I think you need one of your own.

Now we understand the previous post - reading backwards has its problems.
Jake you were adorable with Ruby - so very gentle.
Now Martha wants to be friends with kitties too but Bailey is a whole different story!
We just loved that little video.
Another new friend for you!
love and kisses
