Gotcha! (We're briefly back!)

We're back

Sort of

Moma really doesn't like to help us post on our Blog

When we've not made time to visit our Friends

or

More specifically

When we don't make time to leave comments our friends' blogs.

"It just doesn't seem Right"

We sort of agree

but

We're still Here

and

We won't be leaving anytime soon

Not for Forever, anyway.

Lots has been happening in the past few weeks.

We've left Florida

and

We've made the LongCarTrip back to Colorado

(That's Fergs in the car)

(and that's YoursTruly)

Bella and Zoë and Gramma and Auntie Judith came with us

(in a different car)

We all traveled via Memphis

(Where we wish Gussie still lived, so we could stop by and see him and TekaToy

and

Where I happened to love the Wheels in the VeryDogFriendlyHotel)

and

We traveled via our favorite SpecialPlace along the Spring River in Arkansas

and

via Kansas City

(Where we were ready for and 'specially enjoyed the SoftBeds and FluffyPillows in the hotel there)

(Can ya tell?)

Prob'ly the best part of the trip was the visit to DairyQueen

(It was only prob'ly 130° across Kansas and it helped to cool us off ... 

not to speak of tasting really really good)

Anyhow

We got back Home

With Gramma and Auntie Judith and Bella and Zoë

and

We've even been on a couple of ColoradoAdventures in the past week

(More about those someday, we hope)

but

Prob'ly MostImportantly

We've celebrated a VerySpecialDay on Wednesday

Fergi's Third Gotcha Day! 

(It's hard to believe it's been three years since she was finally freed from the #$%^& puppy mill

Where she spent the first eight years of her life making puppies)

We managed to have a LittleCelebration last night

In her Honor

(She's still kinda shy around the camera ... and especially during parties)

But in Moma's arms, and thanks to OurGirl's AmazingCameraSkills, we managed to get some pictures

Fergi was Happy.  See her smile?

She was especially excited to get some YummyTreats from her AuntieJudith

(All natural and only three calories each ... she wanted to be sure we let you know ...

she IS conscious of her figure!)

With a little bit of encouragement and help, she poked her nose in that PrettyPinkBag

and she found a MostBeautifulNewCollar (and MatchingLeash)

(Picked out 'specially by HerGirl, who knows, understands and agrees that Fashion is VeryImportant)

Isn't she pretty?

And what delicate licks she took of that FrozenPeanutButterSmoothie ... unlike a certain brother of hers

It was a GoodCelebration

Even if I did have to exercise some ImposedSelfControl

and

Wait behind the door for a while

(Don'tcha feel sorry for me ... that SadFolornFace?)

We love her so much

and

We are so VeryVeryHappy she is part of OurFamily

(I'm not nearly as sad as I appear, with that DowncastLook)

It really was a MostFunCelebration, and Zoë and Bella got to join in, too

and

Yes

I did eventually get to join the Party

and

I did get some FrostyPaws of my own

I know

They wouldn't ever forget or neglect me

but

After all

This day was in Celebration of MyVerySpecialSister

Miss Fergi

I love her so much

We all do ... and we are so glad we are Family
